Sowing the seeds of love

Little B Bee is getting bigger by the day, although quieter by the minute it seems. I rarely get more than 2 movements out of her/him a day now. However I'm not going to start worrying as when I was carrying the heavy load they call Eleanor her movements were pretty random too.

Wes and I came over all political today over dinner taking in the sights and sounds of our local and not so local politicians. The economy seems to be completely up in the air at the moment, with no one really knowing what is going to happen over the next 12 months. An independent trader was on the BBC news yesterday highlighting the sheer mess that the country was in. Not the economy as you would think, but the mental state of the people with the supposed experience of being able to guide the country out of the financial debt we are in. All are looking at ways to make a fast buck out of the nations failures instead of working out a way to resolve the issues.

Many are stating that the interviewee is a hoax, however that doesn't deter from the fact that what he said was sadly correct. I'm not one to be scared of what the future holds, as everyone will always 'find a way'. However I do want to protect what we have now...so how to do that?

As much as Wes hates it when I say 'what's wrong?', after denying that there was no issues to be said, we did have a good open conversation last night about how we were going to move forward with things. In my head I had sorted out the next 12 months, and in hindsight, I think I forgot to factor in that perhaps I would need to contribute more to the household instead of less. Pressuring Wes into 'making it work' was probably not the most genius of ideas I've had. So instead we came up with a better solution, that yes, sees me working a bit more, but helps to relieve the tensions somewhat for Wes at work and in the long run will probably be a godsend for me, as I'm sure that after just a couple of weeks into maternity leave I'll be gagging to do something other than child's play!
So Little B Bee, be prepared to be sitting in front of a computer for a little longer than planned over the next couple of months, as we're designing!
